Areas Jake's Wish Dog Rescue Serves

We serve Northern California by rescind dogs that are at risk in high kill shelters. We place dogs in loving foster homes until a forever home can be found.

Jake's Wish Dog Rescue's Adoption Process

Once you find a dog you are interested in you need to go to our website and fill out an application. A volunteer will call you to do a phone interview, if the dog is a good fit for your home we will set up a time for you to meet the dog you are interested in. If you want to adopt you would complete a contract and pay adoption fee.

About Jake's Wish Dog Rescue

We are a volunteer run non profit with a mission to provide a home for every dog. We have a network of foster homes that our dogs live in until they find their forever homes. No kennels or facilities. We also have a public education component where we strive to provide responsible dog ownership guidelines for our community.

Come Meet Jake's Wish Dog Rescue's Pets

We have adoption events throughout San Jose. We will also set up a meet and greet with potential adopters and the foster homes when an approved application has been received.
