Persian Dreams and Canine Themes Rescue Society

Persian Dreams and Canine Themes Rescue Society is a provincially and federally registered charity created in 2007.We are a pet foster home based rescue (we do not have a shelter), 100% volunteer run, no paid staff. We apply for grant funding, hold fundraisers, and receive donations from the public to help pay for veterinary and medical costs, pet food and supplies, and very minimal office expense. The rescue was established when there was a need recognized in the community to assist various types of cats, dogs, reptiles, birds, and other small animals in distress and/or needing homes. To date we have assisted several animals with various medical conditions, behavioral challenges and very young animals requiring around the clock care. We are advocates for Feral / Community Cats and are implementing a Trap-Neuter-Release Manage Program. Persian Dreams is looking for volunteers for our Feral Cat Committee and for board positions. Our mission is to find permanent loving homes for all of the animals in our care and for those yet to come.
