Your application will be processed as soon as possible but please be aware we are volunteer based and everyone works a full time job. We will communicate with you and your references, ask questions and answer any you may have as well. Once that is done we make arrangements to get your new furbaby to you. The adoption fee is 355 which includes the transportation fee to your area.

Hello, my name is Katie and I am the founder of Katie's Roadside Rescue. There are often dogs dumped on the dead end road where I work on the outskirts of San Antonio, TX. I could not stand to watch their plight of often being ran off, left to fend for themselves, starve or get ran over so I decided to start a rescue of my own. There was a mom and pup dumped that broke my heart. They would not leave this spot where their owner had left them with a bowl of water and a pile of dog food on the ground on a cold night in November. I spent hours getting them in my car. I found a wonderful rescue to take them in and shortly afterwards KRR was formed.
