Areas Homeward Bound Adoptions CT Inc. Serves

We create venues to help rescues find the perfect homes for their dogs. We are mobile so our events can be anywhere in the State of Connecticut. We supply the location, volunteers and hopefully plenty of adopters for the rescues that come to our event at no charge.

Homeward Bound Adoptions CT Inc.'s Adoption Process

1. Submit Application

2. Approve Application

We will check your references and contact you via email if we have questions.

3. Interview

A Virtual interview via Facebook, Facetime, Zoom, Google Meet or what ever media format is convenient.

4. Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

An Appointment will be scheduled for you to meet the dogs.

Applications are reviewed by our volunteers who will check references and confirm all information. These applicants will be notified if they have been pre-screened for our adoption events. The rescues will provide the adoption fees and also the contracts and final decisions will be with them.

We support the rescues who are coming to our events by posting their dogs and helping them find adopters.

We are a group of friends who are working together to help rescues find homes for their dogs. We are all passionate and helping rescue dogs and appreciate all that the rescues do from pulling them from kill shelters to vetting, and rehabilitating these dogs. We feel very close to all of the rescues that come and hope we can help them achieve their goals.
