Shelter FAQs

Our mission is to pull animals that were strays or owner surrenders from the Harrison County Animal Control (WV) and make them adoptable to the public. We provide veterinary services such as vaccinations as well as spaying or neutering, microchipping, (in accordance with WV law), testing of Lyme/ HW for dogs and Felv/Fiv for cats, and then try to pair them with the best potential adopters. We are not county funded, and so rely on our generous supporters and donors to help provide the care and basic necessities of our furry friends.
We are located in Shinnston, WV and serve all of Harrison County residents (Clarksburg, Bridgeport, etc). We have adoptions throughout all of the US.
