Rescue FAQs

Bichon Rescue of Orange County (BROC) was organized to address the ever increasing number of senior bichons and other small breeds that are being surrendered by their owners and dropped off at local shelters in Orange County. Through the Seniors for Seniors Program we are committed to cultivating our senior citizens both as volunteer fosters and as adopters. The Seniors for Seniors Program will encourage qualified Senior adopters to adopt senior pups. We have over fifteen years of combined history in rescue and a team of dedicated volunteers, committed to our Mission.
Orange County and adjacent areas.

1. Complete an online application.
2. Interview with one of our volunteers
3. Home Safety Evaluation
4. Meet and greet with the pet.
5. Adopt!
