Tri-County is an open admission, municipal shelter in Tyner, NC. The shelter takes in domestic dogs and cats and feral cats. The animals are either adopted or are sent to rescues. There is a great need for the public to have access to services for pets they no longer want or can care for. Application. Once application approved, Contract - dogs $95, cats $70, check vet references, animal goes to vet for spay/neuter, pick up. No animal leaves shelter without being spayed/neutered and all vaccinations, combo test cats, HW tests (dogs), microchips, deworming, and flea preventative
