Additional adoption info

1) Complete the adoption application. Please fill it out completely - the more information we have about your situation, the easier it will be for us to make a good match. We know our cats and their personalities well.
Upon approval of your application, schedule a visit to meet the cat(s) you are interested in adopting. This is an important step to make sure the animal(s) fit(s) with all members of your family.

2) Once your application is approved and all parties agree to proceed with the adoption, we will schedule a home visit. One of our experienced board members will stop by your home to ensure that you are able to provide a safe environment for your newly adopted pet. We may also provide suggestions for integrating the cat into your home environment based on what we know about the cat and your specific living situation.

3) We ask for a minimum tax-deductible donation of $150.00 for each cat you adopt from us. This suggested amount does not cover the full cost of rescuing the animal, but it helps a lot. Additional donations enable us to save another cat from the shelter or the streets. Our organization operates solely on individuals' donations and receives no government funding or corporate sponsorship. Thus, your donations ultimately allow us to continue our work.

4) We will ask you to sign an adoption agreement.

That's all! Your cat will come to your home spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested for FELV and FIV.
