How to Adopt Your Fur-ever Friend

Every Life Matters Animal Rescue is in the business of placing pets in the homes of families who love and adore these often forgotten friends. We need loving, responsible individuals that are willing to make a commitment to giving one of these precious pets their forever home. In order to make that happen, Every Life Matters Animal Rescue have some guidelines for adoption of these pets. Please review each carefully to see if you and/or your family could be a fur-ever family.

1. In order to ensure the legal ability to take on the responsibility of pet ownership, you must be at least 18 years of age to adopt a pet from us.
1.You must first seek (if necessary) the approval of your housing source to have a pet on the premises.
2.The adoption application must be completely filled out with no missing information and electronically signed and emailed to everylifemattersrescue@gmail.com.
3.Completion of the application in no way guarantees the approval to adopt one of our pets. We will use this information to find the very best home for the pet in question. We do reserve the right to deny any application for any reason.
4.In addition, there is no guarantee the pet you are applying for is currently available for adoption.
5.A home visit may be done prior to the approval of any adoption.
6.Every Life Matters requires a rehoming fee of $200 to cover food, care, vetting, spay/neutering, micro chipping, vaccinations, worming and other expenses incurred in the care of the pet.
7.All adult dogs will come up-to-date on their vaccinations, wormed, micro chipped and spayed/neutered. There may be additional requirements for the adoption of puppies due to the time schedule required for full vaccination and spaying/neutering. These conditions and special circumstances will be made clear prior to adoption.
8.Above all else, all adoptive homes must be willing and able to provide excellent care and meeting the veterinary needs of the pet. We will only consider those homes that meet our requirements for stability and prove to be compassionate and loving homes for our pets

About Every Life Matters Animal Rescue

Our Mission

Our mission is to save the lives of as many pets as we can by rescuing, transporting, fostering and finding loving owners and stable homes for these abandoned, abused or unwanted dogs in the North and South Carolina area Every Life Matters Animal Rescue’s goal is to pull at risk dogs from unfavorable conditions and crowded shelters where they risk the chance of euthanasia and find loving, temporary homes with foster parents committed to caring for these unwanted pets. Our ultimate goal is to educate area communities on how they can prevent this senseless cycle by spaying/neutering pets and learning about the commitment and care required to treat our furry friends as pets instead of things. Until that goal has been accomplished, our mission is to save the lives of these unwanted dogs and improve the lives of both dog and family through the process of adoption.

Adopt a Pet is the easiest way for you to search for a new pet in Rock Hill, SC.

Support adoption and rescue. Why go to a dog breeder, cat breeder or pet store to buy a dog or buy a cat when you can adopt?

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life.

What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder?

When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
