$27.00 to adopt,if the animal is not already sterilized you will be required to prepay to the veterinarian of your choice for sterilization & rabies vaccination, bring the receipt into the shelter to show us you did and you can adopt the dog or cat.You will sign a contract stating you will make sure the animal has proper food, water shelter, will be sterilized and vaccinated. You do have 7 business days that if this does not work out you can bring the animal back to us.

About BAY COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL
We are the county municipal shelter for Bay County Michigan. We have 3 officers 2 part time kennel attendants, 1 full time clerk, and a shelter manager. We do work with other shelters and rescues to get all adoptable pets a chance at a new permanent home.
