Rescue FAQs

Foster Paws Rescue works on a daily basis to save cats/kittens at the greatest risk at Greenville's local high kill shelter. Our mission is to find every cat/ kitten a loving forever home. We are an all volunteer feline rescue group. In 2014, we saved approximately 500+ cats/kittens. Most all of our cats are in foster homes so they receive personalized care and socialization. We are always looking for GREAT fosters and people willing to bottle feed during kitten season. Since we are all volunteer, we are in need of help in every aspect of the rescue process. Donations are always welcome whether it is food, beds, toys or monetary. Our long term goal is to work with the community and government to convert from a high kill community to NO KILL.
Foster Paws Rescue pull cats and kittens from the high kill shelter located in Greenville, SC. We adopt from the Petsmart’s in Taylors, SC, Simpsonville, SC, and Lauren’s Rd in Greenville, SC. We do most of work in Greenville, SC but have expanded into most of the county as well as folks in certain areas of Spartanburg.
