Rescue FAQs

Santa Margarita Animal Care Center is a full functioning animal hospital. Occasionally, we come across pets in need of rescue and we take them into our care. In this effort, we will provide a safe, clean and caring facility to effectively enable rescued pets to find a family.
Orange County, California

Additional adoption info

Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email emaillard9@aol.com to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match.
Our adoption fee is $200 for females and $150 for males, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
