Rescue FAQs

Their Last Resort is a Non profit animal rescue run by dedicated volunteers who poor their heart and soul into saving these animals. We rescue abused, neglected and abandoned animals from the streets and from over crowded shelters. Our goal is to help is many animals as we can get the medical care they need along with spaying/neutering and wellness visits. Ultimately finding them forever homes.
There is so much animal suffering an we just want to help as many animals as we can get any and all the help they need.
Their Last Resort serves Detroit and its surrounding area.

    1. Someone will contact you to talk about your application
  3. Meet the Pet
    1. We will set up a meet and greet preferably in your home so we can also do the home visit at the same time.

Our adoption process is as follows.
To fill out an application email the rescue @ theirlastresort@gmail.com
Our application will ask personal questions about the environment & yard that the pet would be in. It also asks about your vet history with past pets & ask for references.
We will also do a home visit and take a look at the yard. (May be done virtually in some cases)
If you have existing pets we a do meet and greet to see how they get along together well.
We ask a lot of questions in our adoption process. We just want to make sure our animals go into the proper home to ensure a successful adoption.
