Areas South Bay Cat Adoptions serves

We are a rescue organization in San Diego county. We do rescue throughout the county but focus primarily in the south San Diego area. We are on a space available basis and take in shelter rescues, strays and owner relinquish depending on the circumstances. Depending on the time of year, we do have a waiting list.

We have an application (2 pages) that needs to be filled out. Once the application is approved, the adoption can take place. All adopters are required to have a carrier to bring the animal home and it is cash only for the adoption. The adoption fees vary depending on the animal. It ranges from $140 - $60. We offer a military & senior discount. We also discount when adopting more than one cat.

We are a no kill, all volunteer rescue organization. We are in need of volunteers in our various Petsmart locations and fosters for our rescues.

When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
