Porterville Animal Shelter was established in 2009 providing Animal Control Services to the City of Porterville. We are a team of 1 Animal Control Supervisor, 3 Cso Field Officers, 1 Live release coordinator and 4 part-time kennel tech employees. We welcome donations for the benefit of the animals (money, food, cleaning supplies, blankets, dog bowls and travel carriers).
The City of Porterville has a population of 63,000 people; we serve the City of Porterville city limits only. We enforce the city ordinances. We are a mandatory spay and neuter city.
