Feral Angels's adoption process

Additional adoption info

Feral Angels is always on the lookout for friendly, adoptable kittens and strays who are in need of a furever home. Feral Angels is NOT a shelter, but rather foster homes with individuals who will do the best they can to see to it that the animal gets the best care possible while awaiting a permanent home.

Before any animal is adopted out, it will be examined by a veterinarian to establish the approximate age and to asses its overall health. Then it will be given age-appropriate vaccinations. If the animal is not already spayed or neutered, arrangements will be made to do so. We will also arrange for a microchip implant.

All potential adopters must complete an appropriate Adoption Application which can be completed online by clicking here (or copy & paste into web browser):

http://feralangels.x10host.com/Adoption-Application/

Once a potential adopter's application has been approved, we will contact him/her/them in order to schedule an in-person visit with the animal at the animal's foster home. If the animal and the potential adopter(s) are a match, we will then schedule a home visit. If the home visit is approved, the Adoption Contract can be executed, adoption fee paid and the adoption finalized.

About Feral Angels

Feral Angels is a non-profit organization dedicated to the humane treatment of all feral, stray and free-roaming animals. Although our main focus is on feral cat colony maintenance through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), it is also our mission to provide education and support to individuals desiring to improve their community while improving the lives of the feral and stray community animals through fostering and socialization of feral kittens and stray animals, animal adoption and injured animal rescue.

Feral Angels is NOT a shelter, but rather a network of foster families and volunteers who rely solely upon public support to fund our TNR, fostering and rescue programs. Please consider helping us help the community by purchasing items from our online store, donating an item from our wish list or making a monetary donation. All funds raised go directly to the expenses incurred to support our TNR, fostering, adoption and rescue efforts.

Another FREE way to help is to simply spread the word of our organization and its needs. Please share / like / follow our social media pages. Whatever your choice, your help and generosity is greatly appreciated.

For more information regarding our organization, feral cats and the TNR program, please visit our website at http://www.FeralAngels.org.

Support adoption and rescue. Why go to a dog breeder, cat breeder or pet store to buy a dog or buy a cat when you can adopt?

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life.

What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder?

When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
