Rescue FAQs

We love helping our kitties find their forever homes! We knew we wanted a space for Owner's to surrender to as an alternative, but did not foresee the number of stray pets that would enter our doors. Our passion for rescue led us to create ValueCause Rescue! The mission of ValueCause is to help support people and animals in their time of need, by providing resources and/or alternatives for owners, education, and raise awareness for these animals. We rescue the old, the sick and injured, the used-up by breeders, the forsaken. We nurse them, bring them back from the brink, and give them another chance. We are a no kill rescue and we believe these animals make the very best pets because somehow, some way, they understand we are here to help and make them better. Through education and community outreach, we can work to help people keep their pets when owners face health, behavior, and financial hardship with their furry family members. We strive to be well known in our community for integrity and one that makes a positive difference. We want to help save lives of the homeless and bless them with a forever home.
ValueCause rescue lives within ValueCare Veterinary Clinic. Most of our Rescue kitties come in as strays or from the local Pound. Our facility is open to the public during business hours and our kitties are lucky to get many visitors that just come in to spend time with them! Our cats come with all of their vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, and they have been FIV/Feline Leukemia tested. Any health concerns that a previous Owner had will be discussed prior to adoption. We love our kitties and are excited to have visitors anytime!

Additional adoption info

Our Adoption Contract requires that the kitty comes back to ValueCause if the home does not plan to keep the cat (Adoption Fee will be refunded). Our Adoption Fee is $95 for Adults and $140 for kittens. Someone on our Team will walk you through the adoption process and we love getting to know our families in the process!
