Rescue FAQs

We are a young rescue group formed by three women who saw the need in our very poor parish to have SOMEWHERE for our strays and shelter dogs to go. Our parish does not provide a shelter and many towns have dozens of stray dogs. We work solely through a network of foster homes and volunteers. We hold monthly adoption events as well!
We are located in Evangeline Parish, Louisiana but serve all parishes and towns in the state!

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    1. You will have to first submit the application for review.
  2. Approve Application
    1. After the references have been called and vet spoke to, we will call or text you to let you know you have been approved
  3. Meet the Pet
    1. You would be ask to come and meet with your pet before you can bring he/she home to see how well you bond and react with each other.
  4. Take the Pet Home
    1. After your fees are paid and the last paperwork is signed then you are off with your loving baby.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption fees are $175. This includes spay/neuter, appropriate vaccines, and rabies. We do require an application to be filled out through our website, a contract to be signed, and often times a home check to be performed. We do handle each situation on a case by case basis.
