Shelter FAQs

Grand Companions helps people save, honor, and connect with homeless pets through our rescue, shelter, and adoption programs. Established in 1989, Grand Companions has grown from a small group of volunteers serving Jeff Davis county to a fully staffed organization serving the Trans-Pecos Texas region and beyond.
We have a national Adoption Program with adoption specialists trained to match you with the right pet, and a transport network to safely transport your new best friend to you. Our Shelter and Rescue programs focus on serving the Trans-Pecos Texas region including counties from Culberson, Presidio, Brewster, and Jeff Davis to Pecos, Ector and Midland..

Additional adoption info

Our Adoption Specialists and client services focus knowing what type of pet you are looking for, and learning a little about your lifestyle to ensure we make the right match for both you and the pet.

Your "Sweet Suite" Pet adopted from Grand Companions will have had their age-appropriate vaccinations, been dewormed, spay/neutered, and will have a HomeAgain microchip.
