Rescue FAQs

I am a dancer, actress, and well known entertainer, Mayte Garcia. We are a dedicated 501C3 nonprofit, on a mission to saving abandoned, abused and neglected animals. I am an animal lover and advocate for animal rights and safety. I started my rescue about 3 years ago when I saw a trash can full of euthanized dogs and cats from a shelter on Facebook...I couldn’t take it anymore.
We serve all of California and also Florida

Additional adoption info

First our potential adopters must fill out an adoption questionnaire. We review the questionnaire.
Second we set up a home check and take or receive photos of the potential adopters home and surroundings.
Third after talking to the potential adopter and going over the questionnaire, we then send out the adoption agreement and discuss adoption fee
Fourth we set up transport of the the animal being adopted.
