Rescue FAQs

Cedar Hills Animal Sanctuary (CHAS) promotes animal rescue, training, fostering and vetting (spay/neuter) of all animals. CHAS takes in owner-surrenders from owners who can no longer care for their pets. There will be a release fee which goes to further the vetting of the animal being released. All animals deserve to be vetted, cared for and have a loving home. CHAS ensures that all the animals find their forever home, no matter how long that journey takes. We also do behaviour testing and training to ensure a good fit into each forever home for the animals. All potential adoptors must fill out an adoption application and submit to CHAS. We would like to ask that you give us at least 3-4 business days to ensure we give each application care and consideration. If you have an emergency and require immediate help, please call us.
