Rescue FAQs

Rescue is our passion. It is in our DNA. We eagerly jump on every opportunity to save an animal. When we cruise past a stray without a collar, we stop the car and get out. We’re not “just keep on driving” people. We’re “run across the highway” people.

We are a veterinarian-run 501(c)3 tax-exempt non-profit organization.
We are a veterinarian run rescue located in Lytle, Texas. We rescue cats and dogs and use a transporter or airline to deliver them to areas that are not overcrowded. We can deliver to VA, PA, MD, CT, NJ, NY, VT, WA and more.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    1. If you have any questions before submitting an application feel free to send us an inquiry and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
  2. Interview
    1. Once we have reviewed your application we will set up a phone interview with you.
  3. Meet the Pet
    1. If you have been approved for adoption we will set up a virtual meet and greet with all our cats so you can find your perfect match!
  4. Sign Adoption Contract
    1. Once you have found your new family member, we will set up transport for them (covered by us) and then send you a digital contract to sign.
  5. Take the Pet Home
    1. We are with you every step of the way with the transportation process. Any questions or concerns we will address.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption fees vary, but whatever cost is listed includes full transport up to the forever home. All cats and dogs are fully vaccinated, altered, microchipped and come with a valid Health Certificate. We oversee all their medical requirements and make sure that all of our rescue are perfectly healthy.
