Rescue FAQs

We are a small, all-volunteer foster-based organization who spends a lot of time, love, and energy with our foster kittens to prepare them for the world ahead of them!
We are an all volunteer, no kill, 501(c)(3) nonprofit kitten and momcat rescue based in Woodbury, NJ. We give priority to adopters within 300 miles of Philadelphia.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    1. Watch and get to know our kittens on their live 24/7 streaming webcam at kitkatplayroom.com/live. Submit at app at kitkatplayroom.com/adopt
  2. Approve Application
    1. Our team will process your application. If approved, you will be contacted to arrange an adoption date.
  3. Take the Pet Home
    1. Once your kitten(s) are spayed/neutered, we will scheduled an adoption date. You will receive all the info needed to prepare for the day!

Additional adoption info

In order to meet any of our adoptable pets, first complete an online application. You must be 21 or older to adopt a kitkat in our care. If your application is approved, an in-person meet & greet will be arranged to see if there is good match between the pet and your family. Once a final agreement has been made, we schedule the adoption. At the time of the adoption, you will receive a copy of all veterinary paperwork, including vaccination history and spay/neuter certification. You will also sign an adoption contract with us.
