Rescue FAQs
Animal C.A.R.E. Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)3 tax deductible animal welfare organization. We specialize primarily in the areas of foster care, adoptions, and education. A.C.F. was formed in order to address the vast pet overpopulation crisis that affects not only our county, but the surrounding counties as well.

Adoption steps
- Submit ApplicationWe are a foster based program so before we arrange meetings we like to have your application on file.
- Meet the PetWe will arrange an appropriate location to meet with the pet and their foster parent who will be able answer any questions.
- Approve ApplicationApplication approval will depend on references, veterinary information, and the meeting interactions between pets and people.
- Take the Pet HomeWe allow up to 1 week trial with our pets to ensure they are a good fit.
- Home CheckDuring the trial, a home check will be made to ensure the pet is settling in and adjusting well.
- Pay FeeAt the end of the trial period, the adoption fee is paid. A copy of all vet records is provided. The adoption is official.
