Rescue FAQs
Finding Forever Animal Rescue is a non profit foster based rescue that started in August of 2016. We are located in Marion, Illinois. Our mission is to help animals in need and place them in their forever homes.
Our goal is to help decrease the growing homeless pet population in Southern Illinois and help homeless pets find forever homes. We offer a low cost spay and neuter clinic every week. Please contact us if you would like more information.
While most of our cats are adoptable to inside only homes, we occasionally have semi-feral/feral cats that would make great barn cats. They would be fixed and have their rabies vaccinations. Please contact us for more info.

Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- Approve Application
- Once you answer any questions we may have regarding your application, we will let you know if you have been approved.
- Meet the Pet
- Once your application is approved, you can stop by our facility to meet cats/kittens or contact us to set up a meet/greet for our dogs!
- Take the Pet Home
- If you fall in love with one of our animals, they are typically ready to go home the same day! Just pay their fees and you're set!
Additional adoption info
Our adoption fees are typically $75-$125 for adult cats, and $125-$225 for kittens. Dogs range from $150-$250 and puppies from $350-450. Please check out our Facebook page to see additional photos and information. We often ask for sponsorship money for animals in our care and lower adoption fees often, so certain animals may have fees lower than those listed above.
