Crazy's Claws N' Paws is a 501c3 no kill, volunteer, foster, & donation based animal shelter located in Wayne County, NC. We serve Wayne, Johnston, Lenoir, and Wilson counties, but will adopt outside of these areas with the understanding that the adopter is responsible for transportation and costs associated.
CCNP was founded in 2013. In 2016, we began our Crazy Helping Others Program (CHOP) and Crazy's TNVR (Trap- Neuter-Vaccinate-Return). More information on these programs can be found on our website, along with their own donation buttons.

Wayne, Johnston, Lenoir, & Wilson counties, NC. Adopters out of these counties are required to provide transportation for the animal(s) being adopted.
Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- Submitting the application includes us contacting your vet and personal references, along with the rental agency if applicable.
- Home Check
- During the home check is normally when we do a meet and greet to see how everyone will do.
- Approve Application
- Take the Pet Home
- Once the application is approved, the animal will go home. We have a 30 day foster to adopt program to ensure everyone is comfortable.
- Sign Adoption Contract
- The adoption fee must be paid at this time, if it hasn't already.

Canines $200, Felines $100
*Includes spay/neuter, utd shots, Rabies, microchip, flea/tick prevention, FelV/FIV test (felines), heartworm test and/or treatment (canine), fecal exam, deworming, and any other needed care/treatment.
