Rescue FAQs

Our vision is to rescue abandoned dogs from high kill shelters and communities in under-served areas and find them adoptive homes in the Northwest. Our efforts are focused on shelter dogs in Texas and in Oregon.
Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas, Marion, Linn Counties of Oregon. Clark County Washington.

Adoption application, home check, reference and vet check, adoption contract, fees, follow up coaching and support for your new rescue dog.

Streetsavvydogrescue.org requires a $50 application fee for all our dogs as well as a fully filled out application accessing our website link. It is a fillable form on Streetsavvydogrescue.org

If you are approved to adopt a Streetsavvydogrescue.org dog the $50 fee will be applied towards their adoption fee.

We cannot respond to inquiries a majority of the time but you are welcome to text us at 971-303-9415. We rarely answer phone calls due to time constraints but we recommend messaging us on Instagram, FB or via text. 971-303-9415.

Our program is all about matching you to one of rescue dogs! Our foster program gives us invaluable info about our rescues.

We also have a foster to adopt program for qualifying applicants!

Timeline on adopt finalization ranges from 1 week (puppies) to 3-4 weeks for adolescent and adult dogs.

WE REQUIRE AN APPLICATION and $50 fee to apply for one of our dogs.
