The adoption fees start at $15.00 and go up depending on the size and sex of the animal.

Lodi Animal Services provides knowledge, and courteous assistance to the public, and provides comfort, kindness and loving attention to animals in our care. We help in returning impounded animals with their owners. We will place adoptable animals in suitable homes. We will promote and educate the public on responsible pet ownership, including the benefits of spay and neutering.

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
