Are Siamese cats mean?

Siamese cats aren’t mean — they’re just very vocal, opinionated, and expressive, which can sometimes be misunderstood. These cats have intelligence, strong personalities, and deep bonds with their people. When they don’t get enough attention, stimulation, or if they’re feeling stressed, they might act out through nipping, excessive meowing, or swatting — behaviors some people might interpret as “mean.”
In reality,
Siamese cats are usually affectionate , loyal, and social. They often follow their people around, “talk” constantly, and love being involved in daily life. Proper socialization, regular play, and mental stimulation go a long way to keep their behavior balanced. Although they can be intense or demanding, calling them mean doesn’t quite fit — they’re just bold about letting you know what they want.
