Do Beagles sleep a lot?

Yeah, like other dogs, Beagle dogs tend to sleep a lot between their active time. These active pups were bred to accompany hunters on long days of tracking and have pretty high endurance. Adult Beagles typically sleep 10 to 12 hours per day, with most of their resting happening at night (and short naps throughout the day.)
