Do Golden Shepherds bark a lot?

Golden Shepherds can be moderate to frequent barkers, depending on their personality and environment. They inherit a natural alertness and protective instinct from their German Shepherd parent, which can make them prone to barking at unfamiliar sounds, people, or animals. At the same time, their Golden Retriever side tends to be more easygoing and sociable, which can balance out this trait. With proper training, socialization, and mental stimulation, barking can be managed effectively. If a Golden Shepherd barks excessively, it’s often a sign of boredom, lack of exercise, or a need for attention.
