Does the Doxiepoo shed a lot? Does the Doxiepoo shed a lot?

The amount a Doxiepoo sheds depends on the coat traits they inherit from their parent breeds: the Dachshund and Poodle. If the Doxiepoo inherits the Poodle’s curly, low-shedding coat, they will shed minimally. If the Doxiepoo inherits the Dachshund’s smooth or wiry coat, shedding will be more noticeable. Many Doxiepoos have mixed coat types, so their shedding levels can fall anywhere between low and moderate. It’s difficult to predict shedding levels in puppies because of the variability in mixed breeds.
