A Golden Retriever is a medium to large-sized athletic dog breed with a dense, water-repellent double coat. Their outer coat tends to be wavy (but can be straight) and comes in shades of gold, ranging from light cream to dark golden. These pups have a perpetual “smile” on their faces.
