Where are Nebelung cats from?

Nebelung cats are a relatively new breed from the United States. The breed was developed in the 1980s by Cora Cobb, who wanted to create a breed that resembled the Russian Blue but with long hair. The Nebelung was officially recognized as a breed by The International Cat Association (TICA) in 1987. Since then, the breed has gained recognition in other cat registries.
