Gracie used to sit on her owner's lap while she worked on her computer and was very affectionate. She is more talkative and social than Gus and a bit smaller. When the police came to check her owner's death, they left doors open and tramped around oblivious to the cats and she went under the bed. She and her life companion Gus have been in that bedroom until this afternoon (12/27). A neighbor found the adoption contract and called us since she has a very large dog and limited space for two cats.
Gus was born in March 2012 and was rescued as part of a Trap/Neuter/Return program. Gracie was born later and was very small. Gracie is a short-haired grey tabby ... very beautiful. Gus is a stunning, blue-eyed, flame-point Siamese. We would like to adopt them together, since we think they will adjust much faster that way.
12/28 Gracie tested negative for FeLV and FIV and got her distemper booster good for three years. Her ears were dirty and they were cleaned out ... no parasites or fungus infection, just wax.

They have been moved to a foster home near Shea and 110th Streets where they can be seen by appointment. All they want is love.
