My story

Star of the Hallmark Channel’s Home & Family show - meet LAYLA! We rescued this special 9 year old (as of March 2020) girl, a unique breed with unique markings, and she is looking for her forever home. She was recently returned to us because she was afraid of the new baby once it started to crawl in the home. She is a wonderful girl, house trained, and would love a home without small children or other pets. Layla wants everyone to know that she is a sweet, calm girl, and would make a fabulous companion. Won't you give her a chance! Please check out her video from the show and see how well behaved she is! And how about that photo taken with actress Ms. Cindy Busby? Can you say Superstars!!!

For more information please call our office between 1:00 and 5:00 p.m. Tues.-Sun. (closed Mondays) at (818) 340-1186 or (818) 340-1687.

Why adoption is a great option

Layla, a Canoga Park Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Canoga Park, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Canoga Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Canoga Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Canoga Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Canoga Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
