Mira was born in Feb of 2010 and is a 35lb terrier mix that looks almost like an over sized Pug.
Mira came into the rescue after being pulled from a high volume shelter in Mid Michigan and weighed only 19lbs. Mira was obviously very physically neglected but that that didn't break her spirit. She is wonderful dog with lots of energy, love and affection.
Mira has a high food drive which will make her very easy to train because basically she will stand on her head for a treat. She is good with other dogs, cats and kids but will need an owner with some patience and good dog sense because all she really wants to do is eat. She loves going for walks and is good in the car especially for rides to the pet store.
Mira is used to being crated in her foster home and because of her neglectful past should continue be crated until she learns house rules. Many times dogs that are denied proper amounts of food end up being mischievous in their new homes because they are always in search of something to eat.
Mira would do very well in an active home and would make a great running or exercise partner.
