My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ty: 2 yr; Sex: Male; Activity Level: Active Companion; Coat: Black/White Rough; Weight: 33 lbs. Ty a very happy and charming BC that needs an experienced Border Collie or Sheltie home. This will suit this clever and vocal boy best for redirection and making all games of play into small jobs with direction and focus. This boy is on the smaller frame 11 inches, typically bred for herding and he would possibly do well on sheep or goats as another aspect of mental stimulation. He is a real nose Border Collie, scenting out his ball for the day and nosing me on walks. Ty also takes to dumbbells very easily could be a good utility dog or a fun job at home. He is so funny-as fast as he is off leash he has is a like an old soul on walks. He paces himself when he is playing outside with me for different toys and balls, loves to herd with his BC fosters and really needs this connection in his home but would prefer not to be challenged for his particular ball or toy as he shares this play time with others in his foster home. We have enjoyed using the Reliant dog show and other events, parks, walking paths, coffee shops as a fun learning and enjoyment experiences. Ty will need a pack leader home with demonstrated herding dog experience; he is sound sensitive will do best with space in between his suburban home environment; he needs another balanced like herder in his home to bond and play with; he will herd cats; a human break if a work day is 8-5; preferred children 6 and older. Ty’s adoption donation is $250, there is an application to adopt and home visit is asked.
