My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ben: 1 yr; Active Companion/Sports; Malamute/Australian Shepherd; Tri Colored Rough Coat; 76 lbs. Ben was found in Woodlands TX where his feet were all bloody from searching for where he came from. Goodness that’s a terrible way to be lost for many weeks! It was apparent that Ben was in need of a new home and rescue. He is very easy to manage; confident; does not dig or try to escape his temp fosters yard and is gentle with her small dog; gravitates to smaller dogs that can jump around and hang off this big boy’s shoulders and he is non dominant with both sex of dogs; and is ‘kitty hello’-we feel he is kitty safe. He is a very playful and loyal young man learning positive training methods for a growing pup. Ben enjoys hearty walks, would make a nice jogging partner, bike rides, short games of chase with the ball but prefers tug toys. He has a great stamina for activities he is enjoying now and more. He is not scared of sounds like roller blades or skateboards, or thunder. This boy has a world of possible fun things to do with his new family, as Ben says:Life is Good Now! Ben is available for Foster to Adopt or Adoptive home, actually he is available for a new Foster Home as his temp foster works too many long hours to give him the proper attention he needs. His adoption donation is $175 includes his Heartworm and Flea prevention starter. There is an application to fill out and home visit where applicable.
