Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there! My name is Chip. I was in a shelter in Brownfield, Texas when this nice lady came to pick up the dog in the kennel next to me. I wagged my tail as much as I could and I guess it worked because the next thing I knew she was taking me home too. I am around 2 years old, almost 7Lbs, am neutered, have had all my shots and am heartworm negative. I love to go on walks and love to play with other dogs unless they are really big and then I am a little nervous. I am not sure what to think of cats so I just bark at them. Actually, that is about the only time I bark. I have figured out going outside to do my business and I am really happy in a lap as you can see from my photo. I would love to find my very own home with someone who wants a great little lap dog.
We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs.
All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
