Want a best friend who adores you, will always be by your side, and who thinks you hung the moon and the stars???? Meet Marigold!! She is absolutely the sweetest girl and loves her people more than anything in the world! Because of this, Marigold would do best in a home where her family is home more than not. Marigold needs slow introductions when meeting other furry friends but would do well with another calm dog.
Marigold was found in a rural area along with 4 of her puppies back during an ice storm. Since she has been in her foster home, she has really bloomed! She is a smart girl and learned the doggie door quickly from her furry foster siblings. She is around 3 years old, 32 lbs., house-trained, and walks well on a leash. She rarely ever barks, sits on command and just longs to be by your side! Please note that we do not recommend Marigold to families with children under 5.
We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention.
All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.

We do not have a shelter, as all of our rescue animals are living with foster families in private homes. You can meet one of our animals by appointment once your adoption application had been processed and initially approved (final approval occurs right before the adoption is complete). Also, EARS has Meet and Greet Days at various local venues in the Dallas area. We will post the dates and times of the Meet and Greet Days on this website. Meet and Greet Days are an opportunity for you to meet some of our animals. Unfortunately, not all of our animals make it to every Meet and Greet Day so please contact us at adoptions@earstexas.orgto check if your four-legged friend of choice will be available to meet you. (We do not do any onsite adoptions.)

Further, EARS is committed to finding homes for unwanted animals that would otherwise perish in shelters. EARS keeps all of its animals in homes with volunteer foster families where the animals are loved and treated like a part of the family until the right permanent home is found.
