My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Give me liberty or give me....wait, I'll just take Liberty.

How does a cutie-patootie like Liberty get lost and not have anyone look for her? Liberty was found one morning on the front porch of a good Samaritan. The lady asked in her neighborhood if anyone lost a dog, posted numerous signs all around, contacted the local shelter but no one came forward. Having a couple of dogs of her own and quickly falling in love with Liberty, the lady knew she had to contact a rescue soon.

We are very happy she called us.
Liberty is now with us and her foster Mom took her home to meet the rest of the family. Liberty had a great time playing with their dog Hershey but when she saw they lived on a canal...Liberty took it upon herself to go for a little dip ! The water was a bit rough and Liberty was swimming her best but still needed a helping hand from her foster Mom to get out of the canal. Needless to say after that, Liberty ended up in the bath tub....great, more water time !

Liberty has had one adventure after another. She goes on boat rides, car rides, walks, she is a very good eater and sleeper. In fact the foster Mom said this is her first puppy that wasn't a morning kind-of girl. Liberty would rather greet the day nice a n d s l o w.
The foster Mom is working on Liberty's housebreaking and she is coming along very nicely.
Liberty is a Pointer/Australian mix, 5 months old, 20 pounds, UTD on first set of puppy vaccinations, spayed and micro chipped.
Liberty will be available June 7th. If you are interested in Liberty, please email homes4angels@yahoo.com. Your email is your application. You can also come into PETCO at 23 Mile & Gratiot and meet Liberty Sat/Sun 12-2:30pm.
