My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HELP! George needs a foster or forever home now! He is not doing well in a kennel pen. He cries constantly and is very distressed. George was transferred here from Clarion Pups as he is blind. Due to his handicap the other dogs were being "mean" to him. He was a chained dog all of his life and his living conditions were horrible. I will not even tell you what this guy has been through...it is heart-wrenching. George gets along great with everything and everyone, from cats to dogs to kids. He is very affectionate and trusting, clean in his kennel and non-destructive. He was very sweet with volunteer’s 4-year-old (who fell in love with him), but we still recommend no children under five, only because of his blindness. He needs a home that is suitable for his handicap. He would be fine with one or two other dogs and in a home where he is kept safe from danger. George weighs 35-40 lbs and is believed to be 6-7 years old.
