Zeus would like to be the king of your home!

This is Zeus, a 5-month-old (as of 5/30/14) male Terrier mix. He has a thick reddish brown coat with a cute curly tail. Right now Zeus is all legs and weighs only 25 pounds. But he should fill out and get a little taller, probably get to around 40 pounds when full-grown. Poor Zeus has practically grown up at our city animal shelter, where he had been picked up as a stray by Animal Control. He had been down there for over two months, and his time was certainly up.

Zeus is such a sweet, loving dog. He gets along well with other dogs – just wants to play! He should be fine with children ages 10 and up - not younger ones due to still being a bit jumpy. Zeus is still a puppy, so he will need training and structure to help him develop into a well-mannered adult dog. He is very social, but not very high-energy. He will require a fenced yard if left outside unleashed at any time. We have started on his crate training. Zeus is up to date on his vet care, neutered, microchipped and on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. This darling dog is very ready to find out what life is like in a true home, surrounded by a loving family!
