Meet Puppy June - a sweet, friendly 8 week old female Lab/Golden puppy mix. June is newer to rescue and she is adapting great in her foster home. She is so sweet and LOVES to cuddle. She is beginning her potty training and so far does excellent on the wee-wee pads, but she prefers to do her poop business outside - what a good girl!!
Puppy June was discarded along with her siblings in a box at a dump in Tijuana, Mexico. There are many dogs here in the U.S. who also face the same abuse and the shelter kill rates here in CA are at their highest - If you can imagine there are worse places for animals to be. Unfortunately this is the reality of many of the Baja dogs. There is no such thing as 'humane euthanization' where June came from. They still electrocute at the shelters there....it's truly disheartening. If you are a committed person/family that can offer a great home to a sweet puppy, please contact us for an application. There will be an adoption fee and screening process to adopt. June is current on her vaccinations and will be spayed when she is of age.
