My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oh Raven, how we love thee. Raven is a stunning 4 year old bi-color GSD. Raven is a special girl. She has separation anxiety that makes it a little difficult to get through the initial transition period of being adopted. It is actually what almost got her put to sleep at the Comanche Animal Shelter. Her anxiety was seen as aggression by people that do not understand the GSD breed. When Raven gets nervous her instinct is to crawl in your lap or crawl up your body to be held. This was seen as a threat by the shelter staff that did not understand her. Raven does not have an aggressive bone in her body. She ADORES her people and she has been thru A LOT in the last few months. Since she has been thru a lot we are looking for a special home for her. Not only will she have the normal 6 week transition period this period will be a little more extreme than normal. She will want to be with you at all times. She will be a shadow. She will be a trip hazard. Raven NEEDS a family of her very own. She needs that connection with a person. A bond that every GSD thrives on. Once she has established this bond and she is thru her transition period Raven will be an AMAZING GSD COMPANION. Loyal to a fault.
Raven is great with kids of all ages and is a complete cuddle bug! She is not good with cats!
