My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Feisty! While her name says a lot about her personality, she is very sweet and a real lover! Fiesty came to us with three of her siblings at five months of age. After taking them in we discovered they had demodex, which ended up stunting their growth so in lieu of her breed, she only weighs about 45 lbs. Her mom was a pure-bred Weimer who apparently had an uninvited visitor in the back yard one day that led to Feisty and her siblings! Her brothers display the Catahoula markings but Feisty and her sister are almost entirely black and are beautiful girls. Due to the silly stigma attached to black dogs, poor Feisty and Little Girl (as well as their brother Nova) have been with us way too long and need a forever loving home. She is now 4-1/2 years old. Feisty is a great dog who loves people and other dogs and is a lot of fun. She's a little shy when meeting new people but usually warms up pretty quickly. She loves to play and obviously loves chewies and toys! As you can see in one of her pictures, she and her sister both love to collect all the chewies or toys out and surround themselves! Feisty will come asking for attention and will return affection with lots of kisses! She has been exposed to both male and female dogs of all sizes and loves my niece who she has been around since Tristan was three. She has always been gentle and given lots of kisses! Feisty is house-trained, leash-trained, and crate-trained. While she loves to be outside and roam the house, she is just as happy hanging out in her crate on her bed. I'll put her bed inside and she'll go in and lay with the door open. She is great loose in the house and doesn't have any issues with accidents or tearing things up. Are you the right person or family to give Feisty that forever home she needs and deserves? She is spayed, heartworm negative, up-to-date on rabies and booster vaccinations and has been kept on preventatives for worms and parasites. Her adoption fee is $150. Contact us today to meet and fall in love with this full-of-energy little lover!
