My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Spot: 2 yrs; Active Companion/Companion; Border Collie/Lab; Smooth Coat Black/White; 38 lbs. Spot is such a softie cute girl, her smile and tail wag says it all. However he owners just can’t accommodate her, as she deserves. This is truly a tough decision for this family but their rural lifestyle does not work for her with chickens and not enough direction and focus activities. Spot plays really well with other dogs; shares her toys; has a nice fetch drive for ball and Frisbee; loves to swim; run after the golf cart and chase play; walks well on the leash and can take more physical activities that is offered to her or less with more time and companionship with her humans. She would enjoy living rural, suburban, quite possibly the urban life as long as she has that direction and connection from her humans. I think she would do splendid as a pet therapy dog and she is even up for jogging-so easy to work with this young Border mix. If Spot was in a home where someone worked longer hours she would need more exercise in the AM and PM but can relax in her crate nicely; nicely mannered in the house; would enjoy more social activities; does very well with children and cats too; preferred children 5 and older. Spot is available for Foster to Adopt or Adoptive home, her adoption donation is lowered than the AHHBCR donation to give her this opportunity now $175. There is an application to fill out and home visit where applicable.
