Clyde is definitely a Basset Hound mixed with something else. Probably a coon hound. He weighs 60 pounds, but definitely has the legs and eyes of a Basset. He has a wonderful disposition and is absolutely positively house trained. He won't even go in his kennel or his run. He requires a walk twice a day. If you're looking for a dog that won't mess up your rugs or furniture this guy is for you. Clyde came to us from a kill shelter in Knoxville Tennessee where he had one hour left to live before he was saved. It didn't take him long to settle in to the family. Clyde likes to sleep, eat, go for walks, sleep, have his head scratched and then sleep some more! He's just an easy going fella. Clyde just wants somebody to take him home that wants a friend for life. Clyde definitely needs a fenced yard because like all scent hounds he likes to follow his nose wherever it leads him and sometimes he forgets how to get home. I know you'll enjoy every minute with this guy. Our adoption fee is $125 to help offset medical expenses.
