**Dempsey is located in the Naperville area**
Hi! I’m Dempsey and I am Chocolate Lab Mix. My brother & I were brought to a kill shelter and rescued by the nice people of IAR. I am mixed with perhaps a Wired Hair Terrier judging by the spikey fur on my face. My brother & I look completely different by our coats but the coloring is the same. I love playing with balls, sticks and love being outside playing in the dirt. Where my brother is more laid back – I’m more adventurous. I am about 10 weeks old and weigh about 20lbs but I am still growing and will grow to be a medium to large sized dog. My foster Mom is working on my potty training which is going really well. I like the praise I get when I go do my business outside like a big boy. I love walking outside on the leash with my brother and I love to follow the big dog that lives in the house; I am learning from him what dogs are supposed to do. I love to play with just about anything – my favorites are balls, sticks, toys, bones and my newest toy … an ice cube. My name fits me perfect; Dempsey for the USA Soccer player because I look like I’m playing soccer. My foster Mom thinks I have the most beautiful green eyes. All dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, current on their vaccinations, heartworm tested if age appropriate; treated for fleas/ticks and urgently awaiting adoption!
